Comedy/Tragedy Mini-Tile

The Comedy/Tragedy Mini-Tile is a modern interpretation of the classic clay and wood versions worn by the ancient Greeks! While the Greeks wore the masks to indicate changes in character and mood, we know them today as universally recognized symbols of theatre. The Tragedy mask has the traditional down-turned eyes and mouth, and is colored jet black to contrast as much as possible with the white Comedy mask. Each mask is set against its opposing color on the tile, and is glazed for a shiny, polished look.
